To use green screen footage:
Ensure you have two clips: one recorded with a green screen and a backdrop clip (image, video or text) to replace the green screen.
Add both clips to your Media Pool and drag and drop the green screen clip onto your timeline.
From the "Effects" panel, select Open FX. In the search bar, type "3D Keyer". Drag and drop the 3D Keyer effect onto your green screen clip.
Change the mode to OpenFX overlay.
Select "Effects" from the Inspector panel.
Click on the Ink drop icon and hold your mouse button to draw a line or curve around your object of interest onto your green screen video.
Slide the Despill value to 1 to remove the green edge around your object.
Move your backdrop under the green screen video and adjust its length and position.
