How do I remove portions of my video?

There are two methods to remove portions of a video:

• Removing from the beginning or end:

  1. Select the video clip on the timeline. You will see a red border around the clip once it is selected.

  2. To remove a portion from the beginning, move your mouse pointer to the beginning of the video. The pointer will change to a trim icon. Slowly move the mouse to the right and stop when you are done.

  3. You can also remove portions from the end in the same way.

• Removing from the middle:

  1. Select the "Blade" tool from the timeline and click on your video where you need to make a cut. You can make multiple cuts by clicking on different places on your video clip.

  2. Once done, click on the "Selection" tool to stop the effect of the Blade tool.

  3. If you need to remove a cut section of your clip, select the portion onto the timeline and press the "Del" key on your keyboard. For more information, check 15. Delete
  4. If you need to move the cut clip, select the clip in the timeline and follow the instruction on 5. Move a clip
